Are You Insured?

Important!  to all our Landlords and Tenants

Today we have experienced a fire, and whilst we are so thankful no one was injured, our poor wonderful tenant is experiencing a massive financial loss with no contents insurance for his valuable belongings.  Please don’t let that happen to you!  All tenant's are responsible for insuring your own posessions known as 'contents insurance'.  Please protect your valued possessions not just for theft, but in the event of loss caused by no fault of your own (flooding, storm damage, fire etc).

For our landlords, it’s a timely reminder to check your insurance policies and ensure you have adequate cover in the event of a claim.  The cost of replacement of buildings has escalated sharply so make sure you are protected.  Review your policies and talk to your insurer or broker to make sure you have the right levels of cover.  As a landlord your investment property needs building insurance, a small portion of building contents (carpets, curtains, air cons), public liability, and it is wise to have a specialist landlord protection insurance that will cover you for loss of rent.
