Walk A Mile Fundraiser for Hutt Street Centre

 

Once again our amazing Julie Day was the team leader for the Willunga Wanderers who every year raise much needed funds for the Hutt Street Centre.  The centre not only provides meals, showers and basic services to the homeless, it offers professional services to assist people to move out of homelessness.  The team are terrific and aim to end homelessness for every person walking through their doors.  Fundraising is so important to keep the centre going.

Together Julie and the team raised a massive $57k through their fundraising efforts of walking from Willunga to the Hutt Street Centre, and organsing the 'Dance A Mile' event.  Well done to everyone involved, including a big thanks to the band - Full Circle for generously donating their time again, and to Wirra Wirra for once again donating the venue.

Overall fundraising totals are still to be tallied, but from online fundraising alone for the Walk A Mile campaign, a massive $210K has been raised.
